24th celebration

My family and I all went into monticello for the celebrations. It was fun. The parade started at 11:00 there was a lot of tractors in it . Daegon and James enjoyed the parade and got lots of candy. Then we went to the park with Marie and Thurman Harris( grand parents) and ate lunch and just chated a while. We stayed until the fireworks and i thought for sure that my nephews enjoyed them. I thought for sure that they would get scared of some that had a loud bang, but they didn't. My sister Kori and her husband were down also. They left and went home already. I will be seeing them again in October when she has the baby. They still wont find out what the baby is though. I got a job working for the senior center here. I start work on Wensday. I hope u all had a good celebration. I wish u all the best.

whats new

Happy Birthday Kristene. I just remembered. My dad and i just finished putting the engine back in the red truck. The weeds in our garden have gotten out of control lattely so that is why i havent written in a while. I love working on vehicles with my dad cause it gives us a chance to hang out and talk. No fires. Its cloudy alot lately but has not produced any rain. I miss my friends and sisters alot. I wish u all the best.

thunderstorms

There have been alot of thunderstorms around here, but they dont produce anything. Well i am hoping that we get some rain down here soon cause it is really dry. Charles Redd has layed down hay and if u are from down here u know what that means that there is a good chance of getting some rain, cause it always seams to rain when he has hay down. The pioneer celebration for monticello is July 26th. So if any of u are coming down let me know and we can get together.

Happy 4th of july

I hope you all had a wonderful fourth of july. I enjoyed the fourth down here. There was no major accidents out here, but it was still really warm. I am greatful to all the men and women of armed forces for sacraficing their lives so that we can enjoy freedom. Happy Independence.

just chillin

Everything is going good here. My nephiew James has now figured out how to stand up by himself so he is cruising all over the place. Our garden is taking off. There hasnt been any fires down here in La Sal. There is not much going on. Sam and Kori are getting things ready for when the babys come. I'm finishing up reading the Harry Potter series, and crochetting blankets for kori. Well i will post somemore tommorrow.
